In pursuit of its internationalization objectives in teaching and research, a team of lecturers and graduate students from the VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) recently participated in the Konferensi Ilmiah Akuntansi XII & 2nd International Conference held at Trisakti University, Indonesia, and the RSUCON 2025 Conference at Rangsit University, Thailand. This trip not only fostered academic exchange but also heightened awareness of education's crucial role in advancing global sustainable development.

With the aim of internationalizing education and applied scientific research, as well as gaining practical experience from diverse academic environments worldwide, a UEB delegation engaged in a series of academic activities at several universities in Indonesia and Thailand in late April. This initiative aimed to foster collaboration and provide rich cultural experiences.

The delegation comprised Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Thuy (Head of the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing), Dr. Vu Thi Thanh Binh (Lecturer at the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing), along with two graduate students, Ms. Nghiem Thu Huyen (QH2024 - Accounting) and Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh (QH2023 - Accounting).

At the Konferensi Ilmiah Akuntansi XII & 2nd International Conference at Trisakti University, Indonesia, Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Thuy represented the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing as a co-organizer. She also delivered a keynote address, sharing prominent research directions and findings in accounting and auditing, with a particular focus on ESG practices within Vietnamese enterprises.

Concurrently, at the RSUCON 2025 Conference held at Rangsit University, Thailand, Dr. Vu Thi Thanh Binh and the two graduate students presented their academic research papers. These presentations offered in-depth and up-to-date perspectives on finance and accounting, garnering significant interest and positive feedback from international researchers.

Beyond the specialized conference activities, the UEB delegation also conducted working sessions with partner universities in Indonesia and Thailand. These discussions aimed to explore and advance cooperation opportunities in training, student exchange, and the development of joint research projects, opening up numerous prospects for future international collaboration.

During this international conference visit, the delegation collaborated with Rangsit University to organize a guest speaker program for UEB students, featuring a speaker from the RSUCON 2025 conference. The program, titled "From Financial Analysis Research Results to Publication and Presentation at the RSUCON 2025 International Scientific Conference," aimed to encourage research and publication among students, fostering a strong connection between learning and research. Furthermore, the delegation enjoyed cultural experiences in Thailand alongside international speakers, contributing to the broader dissemination of the university's academic and international activities to a wider audience of lecturers, students, and both domestic and international partners.

These international cooperation activities not only affirm UEB's position on the global academic map but also provide valuable learning and research experiences for lecturers, undergraduate students, and graduate students alike. This, in turn, promotes an increasingly modern, integrated, and innovative training environment.
