INTRODUCTION

Vietnam Institute for Economic and Policy Research (VEPR) is one of the leading research institutes in economics in Vietnam today. The Institute has an independent legal status, widely known for its quantitative research on macroeconomics, micro and macro development economics, economic policy, and industry development policy.

VEPR's goal is to conduct economic and policy research to help improve the quality of decision-making by policy-making agencies, businesses and interest groups, based on an understanding of the nature of economic mobilization and macro policy management process in Vietnam.
