On April 27, 2025, VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) successfully organized the UEB Experience Day 2025 under the theme "UEB Flight: Soaring into the Future", attracting a large number of high school students and parents from Hanoi and neighboring provinces.

A Spirited Launch of the UEB Flight 2025

From the very first moments, the atmosphere of the event was vibrant and full of excitement. Participants engaged in check-in activities to receive their boarding passes, explored academic and student life through various booths, and sought enrollment consultation. These initial experiences quickly established an enthusiastic connection between prospective students, parents, and current UEB students, who eagerly introduced the university's dynamic and modern learning environment.

The official program commenced with a special artistic performance – a musical piece dedicated to the 50th anniversary of Vietnamese Reunification Day. The stirring and emotional performance deeply resonated with the audience, instilling national pride and providing a powerful source of inspiration for the upcoming intellectual journey.

Exploring Academic Disciplines – Shaping the Flight Map for the Future

Within the framework of the event, students enthusiastically participated in the mini-game “Activating the Flight Map”, a quiz comprising ten rapid-fire questions about UEB. Each question served as a “knowledge coordinate”, offering intriguing insights into the university, including its academic programs, student life, and admissions procedures. The hall was filled with energy as students eagerly raised their hands to compete, driven both by a desire to learn more about their dream university and to win attractive souvenirs from UEB. The mini-game fostered not only engagement with the institution but also left a lasting impression of UEB as a youthful, vibrant, and welcoming academic environment.

Following this dynamic activity, the panel discussion session “Signals from the Cockpit” emerged as a major highlight of the event. Moderated by five “academic captains” – faculty members representing five disciplines: Economics, International Economics, Business Administration, Finance and Banking, and Development Economics – the session provided students with valuable real-world career insights, perspectives on the labor market, and guidance on selecting a field of study that aligns with their interests and abilities.

Importantly, the discussion welcomed active participation from both students and parents, who posed thoughtful questions and shared genuine concerns regarding future career pathways. These open exchanges fostered a friendly and interactive environment that aligned perfectly with the program’s goal: helping students chart a roadmap for their future academic and professional journey.

The atmosphere became even more animated as the lucky draw for the UEB Flight 2025 raffle took place. Anticipation filled the room as tickets were drawn directly from the box in front of eager 12th-grade students and their parents. Each red envelope - symbolizing good fortune - was handed to lucky participants, conveying UEB’s wishes for peace, success, and a strong take-off on their educational journey. The radiant smiles of students and the satisfied expressions of parents added a warm and intimate touch to the event. UEB Experience Day 2025 was not only a day of academic exploration, but also a heartfelt journey that conveyed optimism, connection, and positive signals for the future.

Simulated University Classes – A First Glimpse of University Life at UEB

A particularly memorable component of UEB Experience Day 2025 was the simulated university classroom experience, where high school students assumed the roles of new UEB undergraduates and participated in dynamic and practical university-style lectures.

These trial classes were organized around current, career-relevant themes such as Digital Economics, International Economics, Marketing Panorama, Digital Finance, and Microeconomics. More than just a preview of academic content, the classes provided students with a new perspective on university education - allowing them to directly experience university teaching methods, explore subjects of interest, and begin to visualize their future career paths.

Guided by UEB faculty and supported by current students, each class offered a vivid and authentic learning experience. Students were encouraged to engage in discussion, ask questions, present ideas, and become familiar with active and creative learning approaches - hallmarks of the university experience that differ significantly from high school education.
