The Faculty of Finance and Banking at VNU University of Economics and Business is a prestigious academic institution in the field of finance and banking. The Faculty is dedicated to receiving, training, researching, and developing scientific and technological achievements applied in finance and banking. Currently, FFB is home to lecturers with international qualifications, deep expertise, and extensive practical experience, who engage in both domestic and international teaching. The faculty also offers a well-structured curriculum, modern facilities, and dynamic research and professional exchange activities. These elements have contributed to the Faculty's strong appeal, affirming its critical role and position in the growth and development of the University.

With its outstanding and up-to-date advantages, the Faculty of Finance and Banking has, for many years, been one of the most sought-after faculties. It is a place where students choose to invest in their future, gaining knowledge and realizing their dreams of becoming wise and talented leaders and investors in the finance and banking sectors.

1. Mission:
Providing high-quality human resources with a professional orientation in finance and banking, meeting Vietnam's sustainable and efficient development needs: Training experts with practical knowledge and solid professional skills, ready to assume leadership roles in the industry. Conducting research and transferring results to the Government, organizations, businesses, and society: Promoting research activities and applying results to improve policies and enhance management efficiency. Creating a favorable environment for creativity and talent development: Building a positive learning environment, integrating international professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, CFB… and supporting the comprehensive development of students and faculty in finance and banking and modern business administration.

To become an application-oriented and leading Faculty in Finance and Banking, recognized by international universities and professional associations, accredited by reputable international higher education quality assurance organizations.

4. Strategic Plan:
(1) Increase enrollment scale associated with conditions to ensure training quality. The faculty aims to achieve annual increase the number of leaners 16% in scale by 2025.
(2) Develop and diversify the training programs in the UEB-FFB. Convert all finance and banking training programs based on economic and technical norms. Focus on developing advanced training programs integrated with the development of the financial and banking system worldwide to innovate and improve the quality and relevance of education in this industry. Simultaneously, develop more interdisciplinary courses to provide a comprehensive education that meets the evolving needs of the industry.
(3) Submit Bachelor Finance and Banking program for ACBSP for accreditation by 2025.
(4) Develop robust, application-oriented research activities in finance and banking and related fields by forming specialized research groups focused on finance and banking issue linked with sustainability, green finance, financial technology. Promote interdisciplinary collaboration and provide necessary resources and training to enhance research capabilities.
(5) Enhance the research impact by increasing international publications and boosting the number of scientific products transferred by 30% in finance and banking and related issue.
(6) Strengthen partnerships and linkages with international universities’ finance and banking faculties, firms and professional association to improve the quality of training and research, and facilitate academic exchanges.
(7) Increase the proportion of full-time lecturers/instructors by 12% annually to achieve a more favorable full-time to part-time ratio, with a specific target of increasing full-time lecturers to 100% by the end of the strategic period.
(8) Integrate information technology in teaching, research, and management in UEB-FFB.
(9) Increase the rate of professional certification of faculty at least 30% of faculty are professionally certified.
(10) Increase the rate of professional engagement of faculty at least 50% of faculty are professionally engaged.
