In the morning of January 23rd, the VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) held the signing ceremony of the Letter of Intent and MOA student exchange with Neu-Ulm University, Germany (HNU). This will open up opportunities for UEB students to add a new destination for student exchange and study tour. Students from HNU and UEB will be supported and facilitated in their study and cultural experiences in Vietnam and Germany.
This cooperation also serves as a bridge for faculty and experts from both institutions to connect and carry out future applied scientific research projects.
During the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Truc Le shared his enthusiasm for the meeting as a foundation for future cooperation agreements to direct and energize international student and faculty exchange activities, policy research consultancy, and joint economic forums.
Emphasizing the goal of education internationalization, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Trung Thanh highlighted the immediate implementation of student exchange activities for the first semester of the 2024 - 2025 academic year. Exchange programs are an ideal environment for comprehensive development of knowledge and soft skills, turning students into global citizens. Adding to the cooperation opportunities, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu introduced Neu-Ulm University leaders to UEB's Study tour programs in Vietnam. These short courses for international students combine knowledge exchange with cultural exploration.
Prof. Uta M. Feser, President of Neu-Ulm University, joyfully introduced HNU and agreed on the potential for cooperation between the two institutions: “We are delighted that UEB and HNU can collaborate in various activities, providing opportunities for both students and faculty to develop professional skills.
