Continuing to expand the "map" of international cooperation with universities in Europe, the UEB has recently expand cooperation with two leading universities in the Russian Federation, namely the Bashkir Community Cooperation School - Russian Federation Community Cooperation University (RUC) and the Higher School of Economics (HSE). This cooperation opens a promising future for UEB and Russian universities to develop in various fields, giving more opportunities for UEBers to step into the world, access, and acquire global knowledge.

In December 2023, Dr. Nguyen Tien Minh – Associate Dean in charge of the Faculty of International Business and Economics, University of Economics and Business had a meeting with Ms. Sagapova S.U. - Acting Rector of the Bashkir Community Cooperation School, Russian Federation Community Cooperation University (RUC) in the city of UFA - the capital and administrative, political, economic, scientific, and cultural center of the Republic of Bashkortostan - Russian Federation, about cooperation opportunities between the two universities.

There, Dr. Nguyen Tien Minh and Ms. Sagapova S.U. discussed in details the cooperation plan in the future. Both sides saw great potential in establishing cooperation in many aspects such as: (a) Exchange of academic materials, publications, and information; (b) Facilitating academic visits of faculty and researchers; (c) Developing study programs and short courses; (d) Organizing student and faculty exchanges; (e) Organizing joint international conferences; (f) Implementing joint research projects and training programs; (g) Seeking opportunities to combine programs; (h) Participating in other mutual beneficial events.

Also, during the trip to Russia, after RUC, UEB's next destination was the International College of Economics and Finance (ICEF) under the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE) in Moscow.

Representing the UEB, Dr. Nguyen Tien Minh had a tour and met with Dr. Oleg Zamkov - Deputy Director of ICEF and Ms. Anastsia Telitsina - Head of Management and International Cooperation to deploy cooperation activities between the two schools. ICEF introduced more about HSE in general and ICEF in particular, and both sides discussed specific cooperation contents and steps to be implemented in the near future.
