VNU University of Economics and Business recently conducted a successful workshop focused on "Departmental Services, Development of Management Reports, and KPIs for 2025." This strategic initiative, led by the UEB Party Committee, aimed to enhance the management skills of faculty and staff, preparing them for future growth and development.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Truc Le, in his role as Party Secretary and Chairman of the University Council, shared UEB’s strategic vision for organizational management and development with faculty, staff, and specialists.
Under the guidance of the Party Committee and the Rectorate, the workshop focused on three key areas:
1/ Departmental Service Orientation and Management Reporting System Enhancement: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le outlined fundamental principles for service management and introduced a management reporting index comprising governance, innovation, and development indicators. This framework aims to clarify each department’s role and objectives in delivering services and fulfilling their responsibilities.
2/ Practical Application of Service Development and Management Reporting: Participants engaged in hands-on exercises to apply the training directly to their respective departments.
3/ KPI Development and Guidance for 2025: The Party Committee and the Rectorate provided specific guidance on developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for 2025, outlining implementation methods for optimal results.
The workshop not only provided in-depth knowledge but also facilitated practical application, discussion, and alignment of strategic goals across departments. This initiative is a key step in UEB's ongoing efforts to strengthen its position and ensure sustainable development.
Participants praised the workshop's practical value, with the outcomes expected to support effective implementation of departmental plans and achievement of 2025 objectives. UEB remains committed to providing high-quality internal training programs that enhance staff capacity and contribute to the university's overall, sustainable growth.
