BIOGRAPHY AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Dr. Nguyen Van Phuong was born in Bac Giang province, Vietnam. He is currently a lecturer and research in VNU University of Economics and Business. He obtained his doctor’s degree from University of Bonn, Germany in 2015. His research interests focus on food marketing, consumer behavior and preferences, market research, Supply chain and co-operative. He can speak Vietnamese, English and German. He can use statistic software such as Excel, Stata, SPSS, and Amos. With 17 years of experience in teaching and doing research, he has participated in many domestic and foreign projects related to the field of expertise, participating in consulting for development projects as team leader and member. Such as an national expert consultant for World Bank and Ministry of Education and Training (Vietnam), Irish Aids, Erasmus. Furthermore, he has trained for many businesses, and industry associations, cooperatives, business households and farmers. In teaching sphere, he had been working as key member in Consultant Groups for developing the 2 undergraduate programs and 1 master program of sustainable tourism management of Vietnam National University of Agriculture during the time 2017-2018. He is key member of Self-Assessment Report (SAR) Groups for writing AUN-QA SELF-ASSESSMENT REPORT the advance undergraduate program of Agribusiness management (teaching in English) of Vietnam National University of Agriculture in 2018.
