BIOGRAPHY AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu is the Deputy Head of the Finance - Banking Department, and Head of the Public Finance sector. Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu has held various positions: 15 years as a lecturer and management staff, 4 years as the Head of the Science Management Department - Financial Academy; 6 years as Deputy Director of the Vietinbank Training and Human Resources Development School, and 6 years as Deputy Head and Head of the Public Finance sector at the University of Economics - Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Main research and teaching focus: Public Finance, Corporate Finance, Banking. Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu graduated with a Master of Economics in Australia, PhD in Economics from the Finance Academy, holds an Advanced Diploma in Political Theory, and has received numerous awards for research, teaching, and management, including commendations from the Prime Minister and the Labor Medal Third Class from the President.
