Recently, student Nguyễn Phương Thảo from the Faculty of International Economics and Business (UEB-FIBE) had the honor of representing the VNU University of Economics and Businessin academic exchange and cultural interaction within the Global Applied Economics Forum (GAEF) at Yokohama National University, Japan.

This academic exchange and cultural interaction program, sponsored by the Sakura Science organization, took place over a week from December 4 to December 10, 2023. The program saw the participation of a delegation of lecturers and students from Vietnam, including representatives from the VNU University of Economics and Business, Diplomatic Academy, Hanoi Law University, Banking Academy, along with lecturers, students, and research scholars from Yokohama National University, Japan.

Student Nguyễn Phương Thảo, UEB's representative in the program, shared her wonderful and meaningful experiences: “During the one-week exchange program in Japan at Yokohama National University, I truly gained new perspectives on the country and people of Japan in reality. This enabled me to learn and absorb new knowledge in the process of integration and becoming a global citizen. Moreover, it was also an opportunity for me to explore study programs in Japan for higher education, make many new friends from Japan, visit Gakushuin University - where the Japanese princess studies, travel to Tokyo, Yokohama, and other famous places...”
