On July 13, 2023, nearly 1200 newly minted doctors, masters, and bachelors of the University of Economics - VNU had the honor of receiving their graduation certificates at the solemn Graduation Ceremony for the second term of 2023 held at Nguyen Van Dao Auditorium - VNU.

The ceremony was attended by leaders of departments, representatives from various schools, and affiliated units of VNU who came to congratulate the graduates.
The event also saw the presence of representatives from partner organizations such as the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) from the United Kingdom, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW Vietnam), BIDV Investment and Development Bank's Thanh Xuan and My Dinh branches, the Student Parents Liaison Board, and the Alumni Association of the University of Economics and Business.

The University of Economics and Business - VNU was represented by several key figures, including Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Truc Le, Party Secretary and Chairman of the University Council; Dr. Hoang Khac Lich, Vice Chairman of the University Council; Associate Professor Dr. Le Trung Thanh, Rector of the university; Vice Rectors Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Manh Tuan, and Dr. Pham Minh Tuan. The event also saw the presence of representatives from the Labor Union, Youth Union, Student Association, as well as leaders from faculties, institutes, departments, and centers. Additionally, the ceremony was graced by the attendance of nearly 1200 new bachelors, masters, and doctors of the University of Economics and Business - VNU, along with their families.

The university and professors take great pride in the relentless efforts of the new bachelors, doctors, and masters throughout their study and training at the university.

Witnessing the growth of the students is not only a source of pride for their families but also a great joy for the teachers and the UEB community – their lifelong companions throughout the years on the university campus. Rector Le Trung Thanh of the University of Economics and Business - VNU would like to express his heartfelt emotions to the dear students and learners in this special moment of their student life: "Graduation is not the end, but a new beginning. The teachers and the university always hope that today's new bachelors, masters, and doctors will succeed in their chosen fields, always upholding the spirit of UEB – a spirit that embraces challenges, discipline, and a willingness to contribute to the organization and the country's development. Wherever you are, whatever you do, always remember that you are an integral part of the UEB family. The doors of UEB are always open, welcoming you back."

During this memorable moment, PGS.TS Nguyen Truc Le - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University, also sent encouraging messages to the students: "In this important moment, before you temporarily say goodbye to the happy UEB home to continue your new journey in life, I hope that the heartfelt words today will accompany you in your luggage. I wish you to always maintain faith in good things, live with compassion, and live with the highest aspirations. I encourage you to forge a strong determination in life, a spirit of high national responsibility."

During the ceremony, students and learners were awarded Certificates of Commendation and prizes from the university for their outstanding achievements in academic studies and extracurricular activities. In particular, the university gave special recognition to 14 outstanding graduates, 269 graduates with excellent academic performance, 06 student officers who actively participated in youth union and class activities, 04 students who overcame challenging circumstances to excel academically, 10 learners who achieved high academic results, 10 student officers who actively engaged in class activities, and 08 learners who made significant contributions to the development of the university.

With a sense of pride and overflowing emotions, Pham Thi Tra Anh, a student from the QH2019E TCNH - CLC 4 class, representing the new bachelor, shared her thoughts: "The four years of studying at UEB have been truly memorable! It was a beautiful picture with vibrant colors. And in that beautiful youth painting, we cannot overlook the companionship of the university, teachers, parents, and friends. Now, we have officially become economics graduates, proving the intellectual journey that the university and teachers have bestowed upon us. It is also a well-deserved recognition for the months and days of relentless efforts and enthusiasm."

“After two years of accompanying UEB, along with the teachers, friends, we have gained numerous memories and a solid foundation to confidently face the challenges ahead. UEB is not only a place that nurtures dreams and cultivates knowledge but also a welcoming home ready to embrace us.” Nguyen Trong Quyen, a learner from the QH2020E CH TCNH course, representing the new doctors and masters, emotionally shared his journey of studying at UEB.

Graduation day is a memorable milestone on your journey, and in the future, whenever we reminisce, we will be happy and smiling.
