HANOI – The University of Economics and Business (VNU-UEB) has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hancom Group (South Korea), a leading technology corporation specializing in software solutions and artificial intelligence (AI). This significant event marks a major step forward in VNU-UEB's ongoing efforts to optimize operational efficiency, enhance training quality, promote scientific research, and expand international partnerships.
The signing ceremony was held at VNU-UEB, with the participation of representatives from the university's Board of Directors, heads of functional departments, and a high-level delegation from Hancom Group.
The Hancom delegation included Mr. Park Keunhyung - Vice President, Mr. Jin Sungsik - Chief Revenue Officer, and senior experts and managers from the group's education and AI divisions.
The collaboration with Hancom opens up new opportunities and potential, allowing VNU-UEB to harness the power of AI to improve efficiency across all operations, from administrative management and scientific research to student learning support. VNU-UEB aims to create a smarter, more efficient, and more dynamic working and learning environment.
This MOU marks a new chapter in the cooperative relationship between VNU-UEB and Hancom, focusing on the development and application of advanced AI solutions in Vietnam, particularly for educational institutions. VNU-UEB will become a pioneer in testing Hancom's latest technologies, while Hancom will support VNU-UEB in building a high-quality workforce and creating internship and academic exchange opportunities for students and faculty.
The signing of the MOU with Hancom Group, particularly with VNU-UEB becoming the first entity to test Hancom's solutions in Vietnam, marks a significant step in VNU-UEB's digital transformation journey. This reaffirms the university’s commitment to leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency and bring tangible value to the community. VNU-UEB and Hancom will work together to successfully implement the cooperative agreements, creating positive and sustainable changes in the university’s operations.
