On February 10th, VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) welcomed a delegation from the College of Commerce at National Chengchi University (NCCU) in Taiwan, China. The meeting focused on discussing cooperation between the two universities, particularly the academic programs at NCCU and graduate scholarships for UEB students.
UEB and NCCU engaged in extensive discussions on further collaborative opportunities, including promoting student and faculty exchange programs to provide international learning and research experiences, cultural exchange, and networking opportunities. The participation of representatives from various departments within the NCCU College of Commerce facilitated the establishment of tailored exchange programs aligned with the specific needs of each department at UEB. In addition, they explored the potential for co-organizing joint scientific conferences, creating a platform for sharing knowledge, research experience, and promoting deeper research collaboration in the future. This cooperation promises to bring practical benefits to both universities, contributing to enhanced teaching and research quality.
A key highlight of the meeting was an information session on academic programs at NCCU and attractive doctoral scholarships available for UEB students. The session garnered significant interest from students and graduate students planning to pursue research and academic careers. Many graduate students expressed particular interest in doctoral programs at NCCU and sought further information on scholarship opportunities and the application process.
The visit from the NCCU College of Commerce delegation affirmed the commitment of both universities to building a sustainable and effective cooperative relationship. UEB is confident that this collaboration will unlock numerous learning, research, and development opportunities for students and faculty from both institutions, while also making a positive contribution to the advancement of the academic community in the region and internationally.
