VNU University of Economics and Business Announces Admissions for Joint Bachelor of Business Administration Program in Partnership with the University of St. Francis (USF), USA

The VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) announces admissions for the 5th cohort of its Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program, a joint venture with the University of St. Francis (USF), USA, for the 2025-2029 academic year.

1. Enrollment Quota: 250 students

2. Program Details: This Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program, fully taught in Vietnam, leads to a degree awarded by the University of St. Francis, USA.  The program follows a fully accredited US curriculum comprising 40 courses (121 credits). Students can choose from the following majors:

- Double Majors: International Business and Supply Chain Management, or:
- Marketing
- Finance
- International Business
- Supply Chain Management

Students wishing to transfer to the University of St. Francis in the USA must have an IELTS score of at least 6.0 or a TOEFL iBT score of at least 79, have completed at least two consecutive semesters with courses taught by USF, and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5/4.0.

Language of Instruction: English

3. Admission Methods and Requirements:

3.1. Method 1: Direct Admission: Applicants must meet BOTH of the following requirements:

- Requirements 1: A GPA of at least 8.0/10.0 (or 3.5/4.0) for five or six high school semesters.  The remaining semester(s) must have a GPA of at least 7.0/10.0 (or 3.0/4.0).
- Requirements 2: An internationally recognized English language certificate equivalent to at least Level 4 of the 6-level Vietnamese Language Proficiency Framework (VSTEP): IELTS 5.5; TOEFL iBT 72 (valid for two years from the application date).

3.2. Method 2: High School Transcript Review: Applicants must meet ALL of the following conditions:

- Requirements 1: A GPA of at least 6.5/10.0 (or 2.5/4.0) for each year of high school.
- Requirements 2: A total score of at least 21 points in three subjects from one of the following combinations in grade 12, with a minimum score of 7.0/10 in English:

   *   A01: Math, Physics, English
   *   D01: Math, Literature, English
   *   D07: Math, Chemistry, English
   *   D08: Math, Biology, English
   *   D09: Math, History, English
   *   D10: Math, Geography, English
   *   D84: Math, Civic Education, English

- Requirements 3: An internationally recognized English language certificate equivalent to at least Level 4 of the 6-level Vietnamese Language Proficiency Framework (VSTEP): IELTS 5.5; TOEFL iBT 72 (valid for two years from the application date).

3.3. Method 3: Standardized Test Scores

(a)  Applicants who have graduated from high school and possess one of the following international certificates (valid for two years from the test date) are eligible and do not need to submit a separate English language certificate:

  • ACT score of at least 20/36 (with a minimum English score of 18)
  • SAT score of at least 1050/1600 (with a reading and writing score of at least 480, valid for two years from the test date)
  • A/AS Level certificates from Pearson Edexcel, Oxford, Cambridge & RSA Examinations (OCR), Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA), Welsh Joint Education Committee (WJEC), Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), etc., with a grade of C or higher in three relevant subjects (Math, English, Physics, Literature, History, etc.).

(b) Vietnamese nationals with a high school diploma from a foreign institution must have their diploma officially recognized in Vietnam.  They must also meet the following GPA requirement: a GPA of at least 6.5/10.0 (or 2.5/4.0) for each year of high school.

4. Degree Requirements and Graduation:

  • Students must accumulate a minimum of 121 credits, achieving a minimum GPA of 2.5/4.0 for general education courses and 2.0/4.0 for major and specialization courses.
  • Students must fulfill all financial obligations.
  • Graduates receive a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of St. Francis, USA (recognized by the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training).  The diploma and transcript will be identical to those awarded to students graduating from USF in the USA.

7. Fees:

  • Application Fee: 2,552,500 VND (equivalent to 100 USD)
  • Tuition Fee (for a standard 121-credit program, 4 years/8 semesters, fully in Vietnam): 369,704,100 VND (equivalent to 14,484 USD).

Note:

  • Regularly admitted students receive a 38,287,500 VND scholarship (1,500 USD).  The net tuition after the scholarship is 331,416,600 VND (12,984 USD).
  • Conditionally admitted students receive a 25,525,000 VND scholarship (1,000 USD).  The net tuition after the scholarship is 344,179,100 VND (13,484 USD).
  • Scholarships are deducted directly from tuition payments.
  • Graduation Fee: 3,063,000 VND (120 USD) – paid directly to USF upon graduation application.
  • Graduation Ceremony Fee: 5,105,000 VND (200 USD).
  • Payment Method: Bank Transfer.  Fees are in VND.  Amounts are subject to change based on the Vietcombank exchange rate at the time of payment.  The approximate exchange rate is 1 USD = 25,525 VND (Vietcombank exchange rate on December 26, 2024).

Note: Students transferring to USF in the USA will pay tuition fees according to USF's regulations.  Students maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 may be eligible for a 25% tuition scholarship at USF.
