From May 4, 2023, University of Economics and Business opens the direct admission of 90 places in the BSBA Troy for candidates with qualified International English certificates (minimum IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 72, B2 CEFR) and satisfy the admission qualification.

1. Number of students: 90 students

2. Training program: Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in International Business (Global Business). There are 02 majors (Concentration) for students to choose from:

- Management

- Data Analytics

3. Methods and conditions for direction admission:

3.1. Method 1: Direct admission when candidates fulfil 02 requirements:

- The average of GPA of 4/6 semester in high school is at least 8.0 on a 10-point scale (or 3.50 on a 4.0 scale). The remaining semester is 7.0/10 (or 3.0/4.0) or higher;

- Having an international English certificate with at least equivalent to level 4 according to the Vietnam 6-level Foreign Language Competency Framework (VSTEP); IELTS 5.5; TOEFL iBT 72 is valid for 2 years from the date of application

3.2. Considering the results of high school transcript when candidates meet all 03 requirements:

- The average GPA of each school year at the high school level is at least 6.5 on a 10-point scale (or 2.5/4.0)

- The average score of 3 subjects for the whole year of grade 12 of 1 of the following combination is 21.0 score or higher, of which the minimum score in English is 7.0/10:

+ A01: Maths, Physics, English

+ D01: Maths, Literature, English

+ D07: Maths, Chemistry, English

+ D08: Maths, Biology, English

- Have a minimum English certificate equivalent to level 4 according to the Vietnamese 6-level Foreign Language Competency Framework (VSTEP): IELTS 5.5; TOEFL iBT 72; B2 CEFR is valid for 2 years from the date of application.

4. Time and location for direct admission:

From May 4, 2023 to June 30, 2023 at room 106 – E4 Head Office Building – University of Economics and Business – 144 Xuan Thuy, Cau Giay, Hanoi.

Including:

- Part 1: Receiving applications, reviewing admission criteria and answering all questions from parents and students

- Part 2: Instructions for completing the application for admission directly to the University

- Part 3: Announcement of Results on 10/07/2023.

5. Training time: 3.5 years with 44 subjects, 122 credits.

Students wishing to transfer to Troy University in the US need to accumulate 40/122 credits at the University of Economics and Business – VNU with a minimum GPA of 2.7/4.0, including at least 6 credits taught by Troy University in 2 consecutive semesters. Transfer students are entitled to a preferential scholarship equivalent to 50% of the tuition fee (applicable to international students) when maintaining an overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.

8. Tuition fees:

- Admission fee: 2,360,000 VND/candidate (equivalent to 100 USD).

- Tuition fee (for a standard course of 122 credits, students study according to the 3.5-year - 10-semester schedule, study fully in Vietnam): 335,120,000 VND/student (equivalent to 14,200 USD).

Note: Students who pass the 22nd class, enrolling in the Fall of 2023 will be granted a scholarship of 19,375,600 VND/student (equivalent to 821 USD). This scholarship will be deducted directly from the payment period when studying at the University of Economics.

- The tuition fee for a standard course that students must pay after deducting the scholarship is: 315,744,400 VND (Three hundred and fifteen million, seven hundred and forty four thousand, four hundred VND - equivalent to 13,379 USD).

- Graduation fee: 1,416,000 VND/student (equivalent to 60 USD) - paid when applying for graduation.

- Graduation ceremony fee: 3,540,000 VND/student (equivalent to 150 USD)

- Form of collection of fees and tuition fees: bank transfer.

+ Training costs and fees are collected in VND. The rate of collection will change according to the selling rate of the Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam at the time of collection.

+ Provisional exchange rate: 1 USD is equivalent to 23,600 VND (refer to the selling rate of Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam on January 17, 2023)
