VNU University of Economics and Businessrecently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with CFO Vietnam, marking the beginning of a comprehensive partnership between a leading economics and business administration institution and Vietnam's top financial management community.

Representing UEB at the signing ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu, Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Duc Bao, Deputy Head of the Research and Partnership Development Department; Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Thuy, Head of the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing; Dr. Pham Ngoc Quang, Head of the Auditing Department; Dr. Do Kieu Oanh, Head of the Accounting Department; and other faculty members.

CFO Vietnam was represented by Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Bach, Chairman; Mr. Le Hai Phong, Vice Chairman; Mr. Hoang Viet Dung, Hanoi Director; Mr. Dang Tien Hung, Member of the Advisory Board; and Mr. Nguyen Duc Thai, Deputy Head of the CFO Membership Board.

In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu emphasized the significance of the partnership in bridging academic knowledge and practical experience. He stated that the agreement would provide UEB students access to leading professionals while enhancing the quality of education and research in economics and finance.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Bach, Founder and Chairman of CFO Vietnam, highlighted the importance of the collaboration, noting that partnering with UEB would create practical value and contribute to developing Vietnam's financial workforce.

Both parties engaged in productive discussions about specific areas of collaboration, focusing on curriculum development and career opportunities for students. These discussions paved the way for enhancing educational quality and connecting UEB students with high-quality job prospects.
