VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) significantly contributes to leading Vietnam National University (VNU) into the Top 301-375 of the QS WUR by Subject 2025 in the field of Accounting & Finance for the first time.

 

According to the announcement by QS WUR by Subject 2025, VNU saw 5 out of 12 fields ranked for the first time, and 5 out of 12 fields improved their rankings compared to the previous period. Notably, in the field of Accounting & Finance, VNU is one of the first two educational institutions in Vietnam to be ranked by QS in this area. 

In the 2025 ranking results, VNU-UEB-VNU continues to make its mark by playing a key, pioneering, and leading role in VNU's ranking results in the 3 fields primarily managed and taught by the university.

Specifically, with the 301-375 placement, UEB made a key and valuable contribution as VNU's Accounting & Finance field was ranked for the first time, also making it one of the first two Vietnamese institutions to be featured on the QS ranking in this field.

With breakthroughs in teaching quality, practical application, and connection with domestic and international businesses, VNU-UEB has been recognized and upgraded in two fields: Business & Management Studies to the Top 451-500 (an increase of 100 places, from Top 551-600 in 2024), and Economics & Econometrics to the Top 401-450 (an increase of 50 places, from Top 451-500 in 2024).

Previously, in the 2022 and 2023 rankings by QS and Times Higher Education (THE), VNU was recognized as the first public educational institution in Vietnam to have its Business & Management Studies and Business and Economics fields ranked. These fields are mainly managed and taught by VNU-UEB.
With these encouraging achievements, on the occasion of its 50th anniversary (1974-2024), VNU-UEB was honored to be awarded the Third-Class Labor Medal by General Secretary To Lam.
