In line with the policy that each lecturer working abroad is a "brand ambassador" of the University of Economics and Business (UEB), recently Associate Professor Dr. Nham Phong Tuan - Lecturer of the Department of Strategic Management, Institute of Business Administration continued to actively participate in a series of academic exchange activities, connecting with leading scientists around the world and teaching students at the Faculty of Business - Griffith University, Queensland, Australia.

In scientific networking activities, Associate Professor Dr. Nham Phong Tuan attended a meeting and exchange conference for Vietnamese scientists in Queensland, Australia (February 2024). The conference was attended by representatives of the Vietnamese Embassy in Australia, as well as Vietnamese scientists in various fields working at universities and government agencies in Queensland. At the conference, delegates put forward many initiatives for research cooperation in all fields, as well as shared valuable experiences in attracting funding from large research foundations.

Not only attending the networking conference, meeting scientists in many fields to share and exchange experiences in cooperation for development, in March 2024, Associate Professor Dr. Nham Phong Tuan had the opportunity to exchange with Professor Greg Allenby - a leading world scientist in the development of research methods in Marketing (co-author of Bayesian Statistics and Marketing (2005, 2024 Wiley) currently working at Ohio State University, USA. Professor Greg has published many scientific papers in top journals in the field of Marketing. With his outstanding contributions, Professor Greg has won the AMA Paul Converse Award in 2024, the AMA Gil Churchill Lifetime Achievement Award in 2023, and many other prestigious awards. Through the exchange, Professor Greg is very interested in connecting with more scientists around the world and will be working in Vietnam in the near future.

In addition to actively participating in research activities, improving professional capacity, and developing cooperation relationships between UEB and leading professors and international universities, Associate Professor Dr. Nham Phong Tuan also regularly participates in teaching in semesters at universities in Brisbane city, Queensland, Australia. Currently, Associate Professor Dr. Nham Phong Tuan is teaching postgraduate students at the Faculty of Business, Griffith University, Queensland. This is also the university that has the number 1 ranked Social Marketing program in Australia, as well as a leading research and training unit in the country.

Through the activity of sending lecturers to exchange and research at major universities around the world, UEB not only brings its lecturers opportunities to improve their knowledge, accumulate experience, and develop their research and teaching capacity but also contributes to affirming the reputation and brand of the school with an international-class faculty. At the same time, it is increasingly expanding its network of cooperation, bringing many practical values to learners and teachers.

UEB believes that with the support and companionship of the school, lecturers will continue to break through more and more to achieve many achievements, contributing to the development of UEB, as well as creating valuable knowledge for students and learners to develop their careers in the future!
