The startup trend is driving innovation and opening up new business opportunities. In addition, Associate Professor Dr. Claudio Petti also shared about the development model of startups in Italy today, they emphasize the issue of technology and promote application activities. Startups need to focus on developing their internal strengths, while making the most of resources from the government and society. The knowledge shared was warmly welcomed by the participants and it is expected that in the coming period, the University of Salento, Italy in particular and large universities in Europe in general, will be able to apply research results to continue to create an effective environment for startups, especially university startups.
In addition, Dr. Nguyen Khanh Huy also worked directly with lecturers of the University of Salento, Italy to conduct practical research to improve the effectiveness of startup activities and assess the level of success of projects. At the same time, an important goal of the project is to analyze the impact data of technology transfer on the performance of startups not only in Italy but also in many other countries. The research results are expected to be published in reputable scientific journals around the world.
It is known that the EM4FIT project is being implemented with many scientific and technological research activities taking place in many countries around the world. The project lasts for 4 years, led by the University of Southern Denmark (University of Southern Denmark SDU) - Denmark, with 16 member units being universities in Europe (Italy, Denmark, Spain, France ...) and Asia (Japan, China, Vietnam). The University of Economics and Business is the only representative in Vietnam to participate in this project, bringing many opportunities for UEB lecturers to learn and exchange teaching and participate in writing articles for prestigious international journals.
