Recently, at the University of Economics and Business - Vietnam National University, Hanoi (UEB), a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement on high-quality human resource training and career orientation for UEB students with the Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants (VACPA) was held.

During the signing ceremony, representing the University of Economics and Business - Vietnam National University, Hanoi (UEB) was Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Duc Lam - Head of Research and Development Department; Dr. Nguyen Hong Thuy - Head of the Accounting and Auditing Department, along with other faculty members and lecturers from the university. Representing the Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants (VACPA) was Dr. Tran Khanh Lam - Vice Chairman and Secretary-General; Dr. Ha Thi Ngoc Ha - Vice Chairman in charge of professional affairs, as well as other VACPA officials.

With the goal of internationalizing education and enhancing the labor quality, especially for students majoring in auditing, UEB and VACPA have come to sign a memorandum of cooperation, marking a strong development between the two institutions and affirming the value of high-quality human resource training in meeting the demands of the current job market in the auditing industry. 

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector of the University of Economics - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, shared: "In order to connect education with practice and implement the applied orientation of the university's training programs, bringing practical benefits and job opportunities for students, the university is delighted to officially collaborate with VACPA - a leading auditing organization in Vietnam. We hope that this collaboration will produce practical and useful outcomes for UEB students."

At the signing ceremony, the leaders of both institutions agreed on collaborative strategies for development with the aim of enhancing comprehensive supplementary skills for students majoring in auditing. Mr. Tran Khanh Lam - Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of VACPA expressed his joy when UEB proactively trains and enhances comprehensive supplementary skills for students, improving the quality of education for both students and faculty members through training sessions on professional and soft skills. 

Through previous collaborations with UEB, VACPA highly appreciates the dynamic and open-minded nature of UEB students, as well as the university's organization of regular seminars and workshops that are professional and well-prepared. VACPA commits to supporting UEB in the process of developing study materials for auditing students, enabling them to learn and practice simultaneously, ensuring that they will be well-prepared for the job requirements of a professional auditor upon graduation.

Both parties have agreed to sign a cooperation agreement with the goal of enhancing job connections for students, coordinating high-quality human resource training, providing career guidance for students, and engaging in other collaborative activities. 

Specifically, based on their respective strengths, the following practical aspects have been agreed upon in the cooperation agreement: VACPA will collaborate in establishing job connections for UEB students majoring in auditing. 

Both parties will collaborate in developing study materials for UEB students that are closely aligned with the practical skills required for auditing jobs. 

Both parties will regularly collaborate in organizing panel discussions, competitions, and specialized training sessions for UEB students. VACPA/VACPA members will support these initiatives by sharing practical experiences related to the auditing profession and discussing widely implemented auditing programs in Vietnam. 

Both parties will work together to enhance media connectivity and promote positive messaging to inspire UEB students to develop a passion for their chosen field of study.

After the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement, the delegation from VACPA visited the campus of the University of Economics and Business - Vietnam National University, Hanoi (UEB). The members of the delegation were impressed by the grandeur and modernity that UEB provides for its students, faculty, and staff.
