VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) is enhancing its accounting program by offering credit for the internationally recognized ICAEW CFAB (Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business) qualification. This means students can earn academic credit toward their degree by successfully completing the CFAB exams, potentially graduating sooner while gaining valuable professional credentials.
The CFAB covers core accounting principles across six subjects: Accounting, Management Information, Taxation, Assurance, Business Finance & Technology, and Law. Each 90-minute computer-based exam requires a minimum score of 55 to pass. A transparent conversion chart maps these scores to equivalent UEB's grades.
UEB actively supports students pursuing the CFAB, providing resources, advising, and guidance to maximize their chances of success. This initiative reflects the university's commitment to global standards, preparing graduates for competitive international careers and attracting opportunities with multinational companies. This credit transfer policy significantly benefits students by reducing study time and enhancing their professional prospects.
