The program aims to train doctoral candidates in the Major of Business Administration (Ph.D), who can conduct research independently, formulate their own research ideas, and can make scientific arguments about the field of Business Administration from the perspective of experts, contributing to providing scientific bases for development policy-making as well as business operations. Having completed a doctoral degree, learners can become research experts, university lecturers, senior consultants, policymakers in the field of Business Administration, or senior positions in businesses.

Holding a Doctoral Degree in Business Administration (Ph.D.), learners are equipped with (1) a deep understanding of comprehensive, updated, modern, highly theoretical and methodological knowledge of Business Administration on the basis of improving and modernizing knowledge of business administration at the undergraduate and graduate levels; (2) the ability to research and analyze in-depth issues related to the field of business administration and enterprise.

UEB offers an advanced, modern and world-class program: The applied Master of Business Administration program is designed for graduate students who do not yet have a Master's degree. This program used Harvard University's Master in Business Administration program as a matching program ( According to many reputable ranking organizations, Harvard University is often ranked number one among universities in the world in Business Administration education. UEB aims to build a curriculum similar to the ones of Harvard University.

In addition, the program is also referenced from the doctoral program of the University of California Los Angeles (US), which ranked in the top 20 highest-quality universities in the US according to statistics from the National Research Council.
