On January 26, 2024, the VNU University of Economics and Business solemnly organized the Graduation Ceremony for nearly 500 students and postgraduate students graduating in Batch 1 of 2024.

Attending the ceremony, on behalf of VNU University of Economics and Business, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Truc Le - Secretary of the Party Committee - Chairman of the University Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Trung Thanh - Rector of the University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector; Dr. Pham Minh Tuan - Vice Rector; representatives of the leaders of Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Chairmen of the Trade Union, Secretary of the Youth Union, President of the Student Association and leaders of faculties, institutes; lecturers and new Doctors, Masters and Bachelors.

On behalf of UEB's partners, there were Mr. Marcus Winsley - Deputy British Ambassador to Vietnam; Mr. Aleksander Surdej - Polish Embassy; Ms. Cao Thanh Diep - Australian Embassy; Mr. Hong Sun - Head of Korea Trade Promotion Agency; Ms. Bui Hong Nhung - Head of ICAEW Education Development Unit; Mr. To Quoc Hung - ACCA Country Director; Mr. Mac Quoc Anh - Vice President of Hanoi Small and Medium Enterprises Association...

In his opening speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Trung Thanh congratulated the new Bachelors, Masters and Doctors on their successful completion of their studies and research at the university, and shared his heartfelt thoughts with the students and postgraduate students about their journey of attachment and growth with the UEB brand. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Trung Thanh expressed his gratitude and acknowledged the great contributions of the staff, lecturers and parents who have accompanied the university in creating talented generations of students and postgraduate students of UEB.

“Six years ago, a girl came to UEB. She always felt inferior and insecure about everything: her appearance, her education, her intelligence, her logical thinking, her forgetfulness... She never dared to speak her mind for fear of being wrong or judged. And she was also afraid of public speaking - that girl was me… I may not be the best student at UEB, but I am confident that I am one of the students who have changed the most positively after coming to UEB. Now I can confidently say that this is a clean and transparent academic environment with a team of highly qualified staff and teachers. After graduating with a Bachelor's and Master's degree from UEB, I am confident that I have been exposed to the most advanced educational programs that UEB offers to its students and I am proud to tell my employers, friends and colleagues that I am a UEBer” - freshman Cao Thi Que emotionally shared her speech.

Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Truc Le spoke in his speech “Now, we can confidently say that we have succeeded, we have proven the value and strength of each individual and of the collective of the VNU University of Economics and Business. After today, even though you will leave the university, to continue to be successful on your future path, keeping the fire of traditional strength and spiritual values of our University is of great importance.”
