On March 2nd, 2023, the signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation and Award of Tran Van Le Scholarship - Aspiration for Self-reliance and Development between University of Economics and Business - VNU and Phuong Linh Production and Trading Co., Ltd. took place, opening many opportunities for scholarships, jobs, and practical training for students.

Mr Tran Van Le, who formerly struggled for a livelihood, is today the top CEO in the industry of industrial fans. Mr Le has 20 certifications of training in management and daily engineering. He always hopes that the following generations would go on the waking path with defined objectives to translate thoughts into deeds and aspirations into goals.

Therefore, Mr Tran Van Le founded the Tran Van Le Scholarship Fund - Aspiration for Independence, Self-Strength and Development, dedicated to students at the University of Economics and Business - VNU (UEB) who have difficult circumstances, but still have the determination and willingness to learn. The scholarships contribute to helping them study and practice well to achieve their ambitions and overcome difficult situations in life.

The ceremony has the participation of Mr Tran Van Le – CEO of Phuong Linh Production and Trading Co., Ltd., and Mr Nguyen Manh Tuan – Head of the Marketing Department. On the UEB side, there were presences of Assoc. Prof. Dr Le Trung Thanh – Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr Nguyen Anh Thu – Vice Rector, along with leaders of the Faculty/School, Departments, staff, lecturers, and students.

At the signing ceremony, the representatives of the two parties agreed on development cooperation strategies, aiming to improve the comprehensive complementary skills of students and create a modern educational environment, towards internationalization of education. The two sides have mutually agreed to reach three cooperation agreements:

1. Scholarship Funding Agreement worth 50 million VND for UEB students.

2. Diamond Sponsor Agreement for “Business Challenges - season 6”.

3. Joint Memorandum of Understanding between the two entities.

After that, the ceremony of awarding the Tran Van Le scholarship - Aspiration for Self-Reliance and Development took place. Mr Tran Van Le awarded 5 scholarships worth 10,000,000 VND each to 5 students with the most impressive academic achievements.

After the signing ceremony and awarding of the scholarship, Mr Tran Van Le led the UEB representatives and students to visit the factory.
