Lecturer Tong Thi Minh Phuong - Faculty of Economics and International Business (UEB – FIBE), during the exchange at Sofia University, has had active activities to develop expertise and expand connections and cooperation.
Lectures by Ms. Minh Phuong on Vietnam - Bulgaria Economic Relations for the Master of Finance program, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA), SU, provided students with updated information on Vietnam's socio-economic development, opportunities for enhanced bilateral investment and trade under the EVFTA agreement.
With highly practical content, SU students gained a positive outlook on Vietnam's economic landscape and discussed opportunities to expand investments in Vietnam, recruit additional labor from Vietnam (IT sector), and develop Vietnamese tea and coffee products for the Bulgarian market.
In September 2023, prior to this, Ms. Tong Thi Minh Phuong engaged in numerous activities to expand international connections, including meeting the Rector of the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) at the Vietnamese Embassy in Bulgaria and attending UNWE's new academic year opening ceremony.
