1. 50th Anniversary Celebration and the Third-Class Labor Order: On November 18th, during a meeting with educators to commemorate Vietnamese Teachers' Day, UEB was honored to receive the Third-Class Labor Order from General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. This prestigious award recognized UEB’s 50 years of dedication to education, research, and community service, marking a significant milestone and reaffirming the university’s contributions to Vietnam’s socio-economic development.

2. Contributing to VNU's Debut in the QS World University Rankings: VNU Hanoi entered the QS World University Rankings for Economics and Econometrics in the 451-500 range. UEB, as a key member institution specializing in business, economics, and econometrics, played a crucial role in this achievement, demonstrating its strength in innovative, practically oriented programs.
3. Significant Increase in Postgraduate Enrollment: UEB saw a remarkable surge in postgraduate enrollment, with a 172% increase in Master's students and a 156% increase in PhD candidates compared to 2023, bucking the national trend of declining postgraduate admissions. This reflects the attractiveness of UEB's academic environment and its commitment to high-quality education and research.
4. Revision of Undergraduate Programs to Meet International Standards: Six undergraduate programs were revised and upgraded to align with the ACBSP (Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs) international accreditation standards and incorporate the latest trends in AI and the digital economy. This strategic move enhances training quality and meets the evolving demands of the labor market.
5. Becoming a Hub for International Experts and Scholars: UEB hosted major international conferences and forums, including the Vietnam - US Cooperation Forum, the ASEAN Economic Cooperation and Emerging Economies with Russia Forum, the Asia Pacific Management Accounting Association (APMAA) 2024 Conference, and the 12th Cooperation and Integration in the Global Economy (CIEGE) Conference, attracting experts, scholars, and business leaders worldwide.
