Hongmu Lee is a professor of risk management and insurance at the Faculty of Commerce at Waseda University in Japan.
He received his Ph.D. from the Waseda University.
He is also the President of the Insurance and Risk Management Institute of Waseda University. This institute is aiming the research with cooperation between industry and the academic world internationally on the insurance and risk management.
He has authored several books and published many articles in academic and professional journals mainly Korea and Japan.
